You mention now offering tunes for Euro model Focus, Fiesta and Mondeo. Does this include a 2/2011 Focus Zetec with 2.0 Duratech HE engine and manual trans. ?
Thanks |

The compatability of this unit would still need to be confirmed on the later model ECU's, I have already had a professional tuner for Superchips try to analyse and get a read from my 2011 (LV Focus) and without success. It would be great if someone could test one of these units on a late model ECU (2011 LV) and see if it will work, until then I'm afraid I won't be parting with any cash :(

It's $600 from European-parts, without any certainty that it will work. That's a big risk in my view.
You can pick one up here for $800, with full local support, warranty etc. |

I emailed euro parts on this to know if it would work with a 2010/11 focus their response was:
SCT says it is suitable for the 2005 1.8 and 2.0 Duratec engines. As for my dealer colleagues they did not yet have such a new car. So I'd assume it wont work with our newer focus' :(

i have heard bad reports about intune motorsport and i was gonna use them to get a generic tune as i live nowhere near a tuner.
so that leaves me with BPR as i think then tune a bit safer, but if i can't have my questions answered unfortunately i won't go with them. thanks russ |

Yes, I'm very well aware of that. When I flashed my previous NA ride, that was after modding the whole exhaust system (intake manifold, de-cat, mandrel bent and straight flow) plus Open-pod K&N. It was a paltry 15hp but coming from a 1.5l, I was pretty happy.
