Will swap info if you post up a pic of the AU dash in the dodge truck.

The headlight wiring goes to the BEM, then to the lights. You will need to follow the diagrams on the attached link:

The wiring diagram I have all shows wires feeding into the BEM, but from what I can work out:

1 thick Black - earth
1 White/Black - goes to fuse box, so would be power source.
1 Red/Yellow - goes to column switch which controls high beam on or off (see note below).
1 Red/Blue - could this be purple/orange (Purple/Orange is park lamps)
1 Blue/Black - Goes to door marker lamps (part of interior lighting)
1 Black with silver dots - (could this be grey/black?) gry/blk goes to other side of dome lamp
1 white - (could this be grey?) grey goes to domelamp (interior light)

Note - The Red/Yellow wire ends up going through a high beam switch and then out to a high beam relay and a low beam relay - looks complicated.

Hope this helps.

Well I have destroyed the switch by burning it out from incorrec wiring.
If someone could please get back to me with the right wiring colours and what they go to it would be great..
The above is hlepful but I need to be exact as I do not have access to these light switches
Thanks

HERE is a link to the colour code sheet for the AU wiring. If you loom a little deeper through the wiring diagrams you will see the connector (by number) for the plug that will have the codes and pin assignments.

Cheers

I've enlarged the relevant sections of the diagrams below:

From what I can see...

Black = Ground
Y = Power from a 60A fuse via a smaller in-line fuse
V/O = BEM - not required in this instance.
W = Cluster dimming circuit
W/Bk = Park Lamp Relay
R/Y = Column switch on the active side (headlamp flash)
Bk/Db = Courtesy illumination circuit
Db/R = ditto
R/W = ditto

Cheers
Russ
