Also dude, check out JMM (site sponsor) link at the top of the page. get a DEV3HL kit if u can wait to save your pennies.
I'm pretty sure they can send it over and an Exhaust joint in WA would fit it for ya.

A good way to hot it up, would be to douse it in petrol and throw a lit match on it. That would be damn hot!!!!

LSD = limited slip diff. Your normal diff will be an open-wheeler (spins one wheel rather than both, unless you're going absolutely nutbar!). LSDs spin both wheels and are quite fun to have
Cam = a shaft that sits on top of the head (I think! Does OHC = the cam sits over the valves, removing the need for pushrods & rockers?). This shaft has lobes on it which determine when the intake and exhaust valves open & close. A better cam has different shaped lobes so that the valuves open and close at different times, different speeds, different lifts, and different durations/overlaps compared to a standard cam. EG: standard cam might open the valve late and close early so only a little fuel/air mix enters the cylinder, and its lift might be small so that it doesn't let a heap rush in. It also might not overlap with the exhaust valve being open, where unburnt fuel/air can start to make its way into the extractors. This setup will give say average power and good efficiency for everyday driving. On the other hand, you might want it to perform better where it makes power (higher in the rev range), so you might get a cam which allows more fuel/air in due to lift and duration, and has the exhaust valve's lift/duration set to optimum for this too. Since there are so many variables to play with, there are heaps of different cams out there. Try www.howstuffworks.com and search for "camshaft". I haven't done this myself, and the above info was off the top of my head. If anyone can correct me on some mistakes I may have made, or explain some things better, please do so ;) Oh, another idea for hotting up your EB: NOS. Get one of the big bottles. -Dave- |

To be honest, there are two paths which you should take before undertaking mods on your EB)
Path 1: Do a LOT of research. Read heaps of online info/articles (google & howstuffworks.com are your friends) and borrow books from the library which go into detail for what components do in cars (such as the LSD and cam which I went into in the previous post). Path 2: Look into an "all-in-one" kit such as the JMM ones as mentioned. Saves you the headaches of researching for your own custom setup. I suspect you may be better suited to something like this, where JMM or other companies offer customers such kits (eg "Stage 1 upgrade", "Stage 2 upgrade", etc) which they fit themselves. Save $$$ for either path! -Dave- |

From what i can see of the pictures, a great way to start would be a 5 speed conversion, that will get you going nicey. Also, throw some super lows through it, they'll make it look a treat and corner sh*tload better

In anwer to your question, pod filters are not illegal if they are placed in an airbox.
