Hi ScotchanDry, I've had two done over time on my AU's, best bet is check out a couple of local & not so local trimmers & see what fabric is available & go from there.

You will find something close to original sooner or later, just have to be prepared to travel a bit though. Best to check the fabric in person unless guaranteed oem from the internet, good luck!

cheer's, Maka

Congrats, that does look close to the original. My AU2 XR8 sedan liner just sagged at rear on Saturday. Any chance you know the material used? or is the upholsterer in Sydney.
Car is extremely low K and trying to keep everything as near to original as possible.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help, I had AU2 SR and Verada redone by a local guy and the material is more like a felt, though reasonably close in colour. If you can find the brand and product code would be much appreciated. Cheers .

Ok the company brand is Novatex international and the colour is Neutral grey mesh.. Now.. when my motor trimmer showed me the sample I was not sure, and was disappointed, and I really didn't think it would look so good. The mesh is smaller than original but once its in looks like it grew there. Very happy.

I fitted one recently and it was a Holden material as well. It felt a little thicker than the original material.

My local man can't do the lining until the end of January so have located another guy closeby whom specialises in headliners and reassures me his material is almost identical to original. Going to his shop for fitting and will see material before proceeding. Cheers.
