Default Classic Small Ford Muster CBR - 26-28 October

The ACT Small Ford Owners Club is once again organising the Classic Small Ford Muster in Canberra to be held on 26-28 October.
(IIRC this year is the 14th time !!).

This is a great event over Friday night to Sunday lunchtime, including observation runs, a trivia night, lots of socialising, show'n'shine, with prizes and raffles alomg the way. Canberra is blessed with great local roads and easy access to interesting country drives.

There are usually 50+ cars and 70+ people attending, with a number of interstate faces reappearing each year. Any small Ford is welcome to participate, with previous entries covering Escort, Cortina, Capri coupe and convertibles, Focus, Anglia and even a Zephyr from Qld one year. Attendees come from ACT, VIC, NSW and even QLD. An accommodation package is available at the Trivia Night venue (See Registration details).

Event details can be found on the club website (http://www.actsmallfordowners.org/2012%20Muster.htm).

Registration closes 7 October.

Look forward to seeing you all there,
Allan
Founding Club Member and owner Capri Mk1 3000GT.

Received the following from the event primary organiser yesterday (8th).....

Just to let you know that it is now only 3 weeks until the Muster and we have extended the registration date until Sunday 21 October so you still have time to get your form in.

Looks like the Events section is not getting updated all the time ......

Attended the Show yesterday. A big thank you to the organisers and the participants who showed their cars and there were some fine examples of classics and moderns. Good venue and great weather. To top it off, thanks for the Trophy. Very unexpected.

Eddie.

Here are a few pics from the weekend..

As you can see from the pics I didn't end up taking the corty down on the weekend. When I went to start it up on the Saturday morning the ignition barrel fell apart & the spring inside in fired the guts of it through the dash & foot well. After about 30min of buggering around with it I got it back together & hit the road to Canberra. My luck didn't last long when a coupe of blocks from home it did it again. So after another 30 min of trying to get it back together I gave up, went back to get the Focus & then headed off to Canberra.

It was a great weekend catching up with some old friends & meeting some new ones. I will be along to this one next year!!

Pardon my ignorance but what model is that wearing the Historic Reg 34631-H?

And Conrad, It would have been good to see some Victorian's come up, for sure.
