Default will 275 fit under an xr6 turbo

Hi all.
I wanted to run some drag radials for my next meeting. The only size in the 17 inch rim is a 275/40. (There is a 205 but apparently it wont fit the 8 inch wide rim).
So do the 275 wide tyres fit under the wheel arches of a stock height BF xr6 turbo?
