Hi all.
Can anyone tell me what rules apply (if any) to whacking on wider rims on the back, but leaving the front ones alone? Does this have to get an engineering certificate/ registered with Roads dept. etc? |

As long as they are not more than 1" wider than the original rims you don't have a problem and do not need an Engineer's Report. Because it is so minor and does not effect the basic safety or integrity of the chassis it comes under the class of self administered modification; whereby as long as it complies with already stated limits set down in the regs then it is OK.
