Default Karringal Hub shopping centre currently under seige!!

For anyone in or around the area, avoid the Karringal Hub shopping centere. There's a man inside with a weapon holding people hostage. The shopping centre is in lockdown.

Stay safe everyone in the area. Will update when I know more.

Police have been advised to enter off Skye Rd near HJ's I think it was, as it's the only safe way into the building.

Geezus! Not good at all. Anyone know the full story?

Must get onto Mrs Whoosha about this. She goes there a bit. Will let her know to stay clear.

Have just got home from there. Was a bit of a mess. He was just attacking randoms in the carpark from what we were told. Police everywhere in bullet proof vests.
We went in at about 1.30, so not sure if it went into lockdown before or after we were let in. No ambulances or anything, so doesnt look like he got anyone! Scary stuff for sure.

I'm from the pines originally, classy joint that. I sold my place in karingal drive last year as I could see the place becoming a bigger crap hole than the pines ever was. Looks like I was on the money...

Ey, some of us still live there (pines) not because we want to but because its cheap and while paying of a car loan, saving for a house deposit and other general expenses it works out well.

I've still got plenty of family over there. They live there by choice. :
