Size of wheel would depend on hoe much you are prepared to lower it. 18" is not out of the question however you will have trouble on the front.
Width is the biggest problem if your using the standard diff. probably 8" are not out the the question with a 4.5" in / 3.5 out. Few guys over at the Cortina Forums have fitted shortened 9" diffs and mini tubs and run 9" with a good offset. Its all about $$$$$ and your interest in keeping the cars chassis original or not Personally I'm running standard Focus wheels on mine at the moment, 15/7" and they are great for my requirements. Car is lowered about 3 inches but apart from that all original. Cutting anything such as the underbody or tubs is out of the question, however a 9" might be a good upgrade one day. |

at the front - if you grind away the wheelarch inner lip - much wider and larger wheels can be used
