Default Dual Exhaust Outlets (Not twin tips, and not twin exhaust)

Is it possible to have a second exhaust outlet on the rear of the AU sedan without modification?

Also, (just after watching Topgear), is it legal to fit a coin/flap thingy in the exhaust to make it louder under higher revs, but still not allowing it to go over the legal limit (eg - 95db at 50% operating load)? As some new, high performance cars (Masserati, etc) have these fitted from factory...

Just thinking about some exhaust mods, but wanted to do something slightly different...

do you mean like one eitherside of the car... like: o.........o ?

if so, not possible, cause of the fuel tank. unless the left tip is a dummy. If it is a dummy, make them able to screw on and off easy. so you can swap them and they get carboned up evenly :

I would have liked to have done this too but not to be- reckoned it would have looked sensational on my car. :(

Agreed- stupid fuel tank.

Fitting a second exhaust outlet would be a modification?!?

As for the flap the ones on those expensive cars are opened by the computer at certain rpm etc & would be hard to duplicate & technically still not legal unless you got it certified by the RTA/EPA.
You can buy flaps to fit in your exhaust that work of a switch which you manually flick yourself. I've mucked around with a couple before & the problem is getting a good seal as some of them leak too much which defeats the purpose.
