you shouldve optioned the safety pack when you bought the cl. it retails for $1190 according to the ford website and offers abs with ebd and side airbags...unfortunately it can only be optioned while you're ordering the car. it cant be retrofitted...unless i can be proven wrong.

i wouldnt like to see someone try and fit it out of the factory. The work you would have to do would be insane. Youd nearly have to pull the car to peices.

Considering the costs of putting ABS in aftermarket, would it be cheaper to just trade it in and get a new one with ABS?

yeah, you can install mats very easily..... :sm_drool:
I'm pretty sure it would be cost prohibitive to fit aftermarket ABS, cost would be HUUUUUGE.

If you can't trade up the car to another Focus with ABS, do an advanced driver course, and upgrade your tyres and wheels.

They still should be able to discount you something, although the advanced driver course they offer free is avaliable to younger drivers. Give them a call and see ;)
