Default Beeping Au

My car is talking to me, I have a au11 xr8 ute 5 speed manual standard. When I accelerate in first gear and than depress the clutch I hear a beep, then the same into third, sometimes when slowing down and braking. It does it often and every time I drive the car. Just a short beep.

Do any warning lights come on?
Could be the low level sensor on the windscreen washer bottle or the coolant sensor.
As you are accelerating or braking the fluid sloshes around and can cause a beep. The light on the dash comes on at the same time though, but only for a sec so you can miss it.

Could it be a short on some wiring on the gear box? occurs with 1st and 3rd, suggesting the top gate on the box?

Your local Ford dealer can turn this beeper off.

Or you could take an axe to the cluster and disable the speaker
