Default Ghia MOMO s/wheel

Does anyone know what these are worth and where i can get one? Are they only available from Ford, or can it be purchased aftermarket?
I really like it, my old mans car has one factory fitted, and it looks great!

I think Mick Webbs SVO has stock of that particular wheel, but I could be wrong.

These are very rare now along with EL GT Steering wheels. Keep us posted if you do find one

I had one of them, sold it to Krissy and got myself a black/grey one. I got mine from one of the dealers in Melbourne for $275, about 3 years ago. You would be lucky to find one anywhere now, and last time I saw one, it was up around $500 (from FTG, IIRC).

And I love it, thankyou!!

ClassicAU - Have you looked through the For Sale area? You could try putting up a post in the Wanted area too. I managed to get 2 of these beauties through the forum at a bargain price :

I'll keep an eye out for you. If I come accross one, I'll let you know

Hmm, I knew I should have asked for more! Nah, what you paid for it from me paid for my replacement (Black/Grey), so it's all good.

If anyone finds out where to get them (other than for $500+), I'm interested as well...

There's a mob on ebay that does BA GT "style" ones - they are not momo, but are thicker than momo - very similar to the BA GT/FPV wheels, but to fit EF to AUs. Around the $250 mark, I believe

thanks for the reply's guys. I actually made the mistake of ringing my local ford dealer, and they told me list price is $1185 or something rediculous like that!!! i almost fell over!
oh, and if i was going to tax dads, i would just claim the whole car cos it kills mine!

anyways, might try the wanted section, cheers for that.

Genebaby has one in his car (BA), and it's obviously to fir a BA air bag etc, but essentially they are the same wheel. They are a really nice, chunky wheel.

I was kinda hoping to come across a woodgrain one but at a thousand dollars plus I'll get the chainsaw out and do my own woodgrain ;)

has anyone actually seen one of these?

I almost bought one last night but would like to have a feel before I buy.

Would they be very similar to a GT wheel? If so, I'll find one somewhere and have a grip...

always wanted one of those MOMO Ghia wheels for Dad's AU, but they are getting harder and harder to find. The only place I know of that still has them is the MOMO importer for australia - Roman Autotek www.autotek.com.au. They are listed in their online store but for $600 a piece you'd have to really want one.

That Ebay one looks alright except for the silver bits on it.

they are a really nice wheel. there is one in my mums car... defo matches the wood grain in teh 'lane... but in a stocko 'mont (non ghia) i think its overkill on the wood.. i wanna get my wood inserts changed to graphite/carbon fibre cause they are out of place. oh well.
