Default Boss260 into AU

Assuming the firewall and engine bay are essentially the same between AU/BA am i right to think it would be relatively straightforward to fit BA everything from the front seats forward, including the dash/brakes/suspension/engine into an AU? Retaining the AU nose of course. . Basically strip everything out and reassemble with BA bits??
