Default Falcon Door Handles

Does anyone know what the outside door handles are made of in late model Falcons?
I thought they were made of ABS plastic but maybe they're not - Lego is ABS but the handles seem different.
Does anyone know?

Falcon Hell, what a question. my guess would be polyurathane or something that's uv resistant like that.

Basically, they are 66% polyamide and 30% glass fibre handle.
thanks anyway.

You would have been close, ABS is mostly Polyamide.
I've got the record here for Type66 PA with 30% long fibres if you needed to know anything.
It has about 50 different names. Surprised to see its flammable. Used for anything from gears to fuel tanks to cutlery.

It's funny because its the one thing I have not had a problem with on my XF, I have had it for 7 years and never had a single problem with the door handles, yet it's the number one complaint I hear from XD/XE/XF owners!

When they are maintained those handles don't cause many problems...

you have to know how to open them. i brought my 1990 xf ute with 41000 k,s on it now has 364000 k,s and have not replaced the drivers side handle. have replaced pass side twice and it hardly gets used and both inside handles as well. the day will come when i have to replace it as it feels a bit looser nowdays.
