Just a question....I am trying to sell my BA XT falson with SL's all round, to pass a roadworthy will it need to have the standard springs fitted?
Also what exactly do they test for in a roadworthy? My car is mechanically sound (so I think anyway) so I am weighing up the option of whether to sell the car cheaper without roadworthy or get it done. Thanks for the help! |

if they are legal spring then they will be ok. In a road worthy they check
Tyres for legal in size and condition Lights mirrors rust Engine and chassis no interior in right place steering wheel glass paint in all the same oil leaks brake test seat belts all doors work and lock and anything else they see fit to look at. cheers brian

If its lowered, they may check the security of the springs on the hoist with the suspension fully extended. Shorter springs may have the tendency to fall out.
