Thought I might as well add one, fairly run of the mill 2.5'' cat back with Lukey muffler. For $250 she still sounds premium compared to those tinny Holden V6's...

you think that's beasty, you should hear one with extractors and no cat...when i was putting my extractors on i had to drive it about 500m to the exhaust place, i didn't have the tools or the pipe to extend the piping on the cat...tried towing it first, but when the rope snapped (at the end of the driveway) i had to fire it up and drive it there...now that was beasty, sounded like a tank

it sits in the same spot as normal, depending on the type of cat, ie most aftermarket ones, only have about 10cm of pipe on each end so you need to extend it. i have my cat flanged on both ends, one end bolts straight to the extractors and the other end has a piece of pipe welded on to join to the rest of the exhaust, which will bolt straight up to a stock exhaust manifold and cat setup...if that makes sense...
