ahh bugger, have already booked and paid for an Oran Park Skid Pan day on 5 Jan, and a Motokhana on 3 Feb, then have an FPV drive day coming up too.....i will definately be keen on joining you blokes for a skid pan/track day later in the year.

WOFTAM!!!!!!

Just got back and I must say it was quite disappointing....

You get 5 X 3 minute runs. With each run lasting 3 minutes, thats just when you start to find a rhythm, they call you off.

The "instructors" are hardly that, but they do give you a good pat on the back when you do hang the back out. They hardly teach you much since anyone (including myself) knows how to oversteer.

Two of our runs were after dark so you couldn't see the witches hats with all the light reflecting off the water on the track.

And you get a free bottle of water.

Spend your money elsewhere.


The only good thing on the was that one of the guys there had a Mk2 XR8 (manual), and it was good to watch going around and even better to listen to.

ahhhh what a dissapointment then. i keep reading about other drive days on offers then always come back to the drift day in my head but looks like i will just be going to wakefields open days for a fang

Absolutely mate, more fun to be had putting your car to the limit at Wakefield.

Oh, and one more thing, the Futura now has her first exhaust leak thanks to last night lol.
