I have been using K&N, and put in a Fram airhog 2 major services ago,and I have been quite impressed.I have always thought the K&N was overhyped and overated anyway.I will be sticking with the airhog-I reckon it's at least as good, and half the price!

Yeah mate they are good, my mate got one for his EF from supercheap for $60. We put my K&N in his car and the FRAM AIRHOG filter in my car. And yeah I noticed a small difference. The K&N filter had been cleaned about 5000km ago.
At the end of the day, It's probably only a bee's dick difference but it was more noticeable with throttle response and high rpm's. I think there warranty only is 250000km's and not 1millionkm's like K&N offer. just having that big airhog Boar sticker on your airbox lid is worth 5rwkw lol..lol... Cheers |

its funny, because, I was actually looking at K&N air pods on ebay, and I saw this thread, but completely ignored it, even thought I had seen these air pods in super cheap last week, and was considering one... haha
do they have one with a 4inch inlet though? I dont remember seeing one... |
