MEP Ultimate Black here, metallic sputtered film, made by CP Films USA who are the largest film manufacturer in the world, the Ultimate Black is 60% Heat Rejection, 99% UV Rejection, apparantly it's one of the best films available.

Got it installed at Express Tinting up here in Brisbane.

If you live in Melb, I can hook you up for that kinda custom stuff.

Funny this thread should pop up given what I saw today in Perth. I was sitting at the lights when a VT pulled up beside me. It had an awful kit and the wheels were even worse but the tint was something I had never seen before. It was orange - bright orange to be exact. It looked like a big pair of shooting glasses and had the HRT Lion's head cut into it too. IMO, it looked shithouse.

Darkest legal is 35% VLT, which stands for visible light transmission and means that at least 35% of the light that hits it has to pass through it. To get it looking pretty black, you have to have around 20%VLT, therefore only 20% of light is getting through.

I would guess that was the new Bolle tint from Tint-a-car. Plus the HRT logo he must have added to it. I settled for Midnight Express tint. Still cost $395 though. Good job done and 10yr warranty.
