Default AU XR8 Bucket seats

Hi Guys

Can anyone in the know tell me if the AU XR8 Bucket seats are any different to the standard commercial ute buckets seats. No so much in the stitching, but do the xr8 seats have better support. ??

Also - when i recovered my commercial ute buckets seats, the bottom of the seat foam was just one piece that sits over the wire frame. Is that the same a the xr8 ?

thanks in advance

Brad

Default Re: AU XR8 Bucket seats

I fitted foam and covers from an XR to my XL ute.

As far as I can tell the support is much the same, but the foam does have a slightly different profile and contours for the different stitching in the cover.
From memory the XR foam was also one piece.

I kept the ute seat frames because of the lever which leans the seat rest forward.
