powder coated, the colour is call black onyx. it is satin black with a fine metalic through it. that gives it a bit of a sheen. my last cat was just satin black so i thaught i would try this colour as it shows the shape of the wheel better. below is my rims of my old car to show you the difference, you will notice there is no sheen on them compared to the rims on the focus

Thanks guys.
Neale, continuing the Ford and Euroford tradition too. Mum will likely replace hers with the next-gen Focus when that goes on sale in a few months time. The LS is starting to show her age. Dan

Nice looking car, got the same one in silver. I was just wondering where you got your sunroof installed and for how much. Also, does it look like a factory install?

The sunroof was installed by http://www.webasto.com.au/home/ena/html/homepage.html
I was fortunate enough to be able to get a matching control switch (beige in colour) which blends in perfectly with the hoodlining and makes it look like a factory fit. The standard fitted control switches are black in colour. It took a full day to fit and the price was $2300 fully installed. Mine is wired so it closes as soon as the key is switched to off and can also be closed via the car remote controller. It can be left open as well by pressing the appropriate button after the key is turned and before it automatically closes. Russ |

Very nice Russ, love the sunroof. Car looks fantastic, reckon a set of XR5 wheels would set it off.

Good job, Russ. You don't muck around. You might be interested in getting a lower grille like mine, make it even more distinguishable on the outside from all the other Foci out there...

Cheers guys, I like the XR5 wheels but the majority of the budget has been spent for now. I don't mind the lower grill as is mate but I do plan to sort out the rear bar and have a cut out made for another exhaust tip. I would have thought they could have done something a little better for a Zetec model :( Not to worry I'll hopefully get it sorted soon.

Have a look at what I found parked next to my MKI Focus.
http://i603.photobucket.com/albums/t...of10072011.jpg The Focus MKIII is in the hands of Blake from N.S.W. and he's in a competition from a carsales.com.au for the next 12 weeks and he's got a 1 in 12 chance of winning it. Here's the link that he gave me http://bit.ly/voteblake if you want to vote for him. I hope it works. Blake took me for a drive in the Blue Mountains and what I can tell you from my experience from the passenger seat is that it's very very good. The model he's got has the Turbo Diesel engine mated to the 6 Speed Powershift, and also has Xenon/Daytime Running Lights (which look fantastic). The ride is what I'd expect from a Focus coming from my MKI Focus. It's also got Adaptive Cruise and Park Assist (another feature that I'd never experienced). Both work brilliantly. I'd never previously been in a passenger car with a Turbo Diesel engine. I was pleasantly surprised that the engine and exhaust note is pretty easy on the ear. If I were in the market to upgrade would I buy this combination? Definitely. Eddie.

Hey Velociraptor82,
I went through this thread and had a look at all the focus's! I really do like yours, especially those rims ![]() Also I am not sure where the bodykit was bought from because the Ford Dealership put the bodykit, paintjob and rims on ![]()
