Hi all.
I've finally started up a thread about my LS Zetec Hatch. Purchased from a dealer a month or so ago. Quite enjoying the car, it's a bit like an overgrown go kart. It's not without it's issues however. Any advice on the following would be appreciated. When turning the steering wheel a noise can be heard. Sales guy reckons this is only from a bit of 'something' getting lodged in or around the wheel/steering column in the cabin. Any suggestions as to be best way to fix this? Apparently it's no big issue it's just annoying. Also the clutch pedal squeaks. I'm sure I read something about this earlier so one of these days I'll get around to greasing the noisy bit. More annoyingly one of the interior handles (Parts you would use to close the hatch from open) doesn't seem to screw in properly. I've tried a few times to get the thing to screw in to no avail. Any tips here? Two annoyances I'm reasonably sure there aren't fixes for are the indicators on the wrong side and the fresh air vent defaulting to open. whoever at Ford decided that was a good idea needs to be shot. Cheers A Here is a pic. Last edited by A10; 25-04-2012 at 01:54 PM. |
