Angry XR5T bottom end bearings

Hi guys I am new to this forum, I have a 07 LS XR5 Turbo and it has done 45,000 kms. I have had the car from almost new, had done 7000kms when I bought it.
The bottom end bearings have gone and Ford are having trouble fixing the problem...it's been six weeks so far...still have two more weeks to wait for three conrods to arrive. Ford cannot repair the engine it has had to go to an engine specialist to be assessed and fixed....under warranty tho.
The problem started with a ticking noise in the engine and they thought it was the lifters or the gudgeon pin at first.
Just wondering if anyone has had this problem before as I am running out of patience waiting for the car.
