FPV & XR Owners Club Show n' Shine: Open to all Fords only
Date: 25th November 2007
Venue: John Knight Memorial Park, Belconnen ACT

Dear Fellow Ford Owners & Enthusiasts,

The FPV & XR Owners Club of ACT would like to personally invite you to the clubs 2007 Show n' Shine.

Once again, this years show will be run in conjuction with Marques in the Park', an event open to all makes and models including motorbikes, drag cars and hotrods. The combined show in previous years has displayed in excess of 450 vehicles.

The FPV & XR Owners Club of ACT welcomes all Ford Motor Vehicles from all classes to our annual Show n' Shine, all vying for the numerous awards on offer. Also on the day there will be vendor's stands, competitions, and food stalls all to help keep the day action packed. Additionally the venue is only walking distance from Westfield Shopping centre and various Family food outlets.

Cost: $15 per car, or $10 for ACT Club members
Times: 8.30am - 3.00pm approx

The cost of the show will register your car to be in the running for various trophies and prizes. Trophy categories will be available on the day of the show.

Looking forward to the Show again - have enjoyed myself at every Show you have held and it is only getting better. Mailed my Entry Form today.

Should have my new custom front done for the show - am trying to get it done in time for the Wagga AFD.

Have put up some listings for you on my ShowNShine website - on the ACT - NSW and Major Shows listings -

I've been trying to get some XR4's and XR5's to the show, and I have a couple, but they have raised the question about the forms with closing tommorrow. Can they just enter on the day?

Yeah No problems the closing date was just for us so that we can assess how many people would be attending.

Seems we are not able to invite the XR 4 and XR5 owners to become club members but we are willing to have them exhibit at the show and shine! Mmmmmmm...! A young lass came along to the last meeting wanting to join up but was turned away because she did not qualify with an XR5. Just an observation.

Any Ford is able to participate in the Show N Shine even my daughters KH Laser if she wanted.

Unfortunately the XR4 and XR5 do not meet the criteria of the clubs constitution.

Just spoke to Nick with the blown Yellow BA GT and he is going to come along to the Show N Shine - he was there last year for his first show and took out Best Engine Modifications ( or similar ) - I told him that it was OK to enter on the day ( is this OK? ) One hell of a nice GT.

Paddy, just to let you know I will not be able to put my car in the show for next weekend as I had a slight problem with a pole in a carpark in Coffs Harbour. Will try to have repairs done in time when we get back on Monday, if not I will still be there on the day.
