I have a 2004 Focus Sedan, if you open the door while the car is in Reverse or Drive there is a loud warning chime. Just wondering is there anyway to disable this feature?

I'm not too sure, it doesn't say LR or LS anywhere. Car is a Singapore import.

LR/S/T/V is unique to Oz correct? so I'm not sure if it's applicable to N.Z. but it seems likely you've got an LR (Mk1).

Yeah a Singapore import would be an LR. LS/LT/LV are Aussie because we get them from South Africa. NZ get their equivalent from Germany due to the aussie demand

Oh ok, so any ideas as to how I could disable the warning sound?

I'd be more worried about the fact that your door is open long enough in a driving gear to worry about the chiming noise!

Maybe he is a stunt man and jumps out of hes car in reverse but the sound is distracting him.
