God I loved that car Dean! By the way , what colour was the blue? It looks a little like Cosmic blue but maybe a little brighter?
Hows the new project coming along? Maybe I should check your project thread as I havent for a while.

Good luck with it!

Id stick with the original set up proberly. Not too keen on the RRS stuff, good gear, just for personal reasons we wont go into on the forum.
It not easy to fit up, but it does look cool.

Gday Tony. Thankyou.
Fronts are 15 x 8 running 235x60 and rear is 15 x 10 running 295x50. I should and will put these details into the other wheel thread, but i used the Performance Challengers with 4.5" backspace.
Now my coupe still has the origonal chrome arch trims and has never had the lips rolled, and did not want to do that. I also used a XC 9" LSD and did have to shorten it a whole 17mm per side, but now the clearance's both sides are perfect. If i could have got a XW/XY diff then it should have fitted ok straight up, but was happy with the rear disc set up anyway.
The real killer was having the rear callipers compleatly redone, it cost a fortune.
I also have a GT/GS bonnet in primer waiting to be painted, that will add to the look, and have a double headlight grill on the way, chased one of those for years, not easy.
Too be honest, the 302 just dosent go, its all stock down to the two barrel carby and factory manafolds. So soon, as money permits, a new intake, carby and extractors will be added. Then, by all means Pat, we can go for a cruise and I may be able to keep with you and Monty.
Thanks for the input MEANXBCOUPE.
All the best
Brad

Thanks, Yeah the Coupe was painted in Cosmic Blue with Argent Silver stripes, I always loved that color combination..

The new one is a slow project at the moment as there is a tonne of stuff to do body wise but we'll get there soon.

Cheers

My soon to be oxford speedway dirt track coupe. Nearly ready to paint and since xa fronts are my favorite and good sellers, Ive thrown a xc front on it and doors. Next meeting is next month. Just gotta bar it up and throw a 250 6 packer in it for now with a straight through side exhaust. Got the big rims on the back and have got some grooved 245s ready. Motor, box and LSD will be fitted over the next few days. Got another coupe shell arriving as a spare soon plus Ive always got my fairmont and GT coupe to strip when I write off these shells....hehe

First to pics are as it was on trademe, didnt sell so we go dirt track racing.
Pics of it in primer where taken about 10mins ago.

Its going to be painted the same colour as our new business cards, red and blue.

Cheers,

Brendon

Perfect stance on this coupe. 14" rims suit, dont care what anyone says.
Well done.

Yeah Tony i did have it at echuca.

I havent realy changed it much since i've only added a 5 speed.

Its still scratched and faded but its only the work car.

It could do with a paint job one day maybe.
