She is a EF Fairmont in dark blue. Body is a bit beat up with scratches and that but i am going to be repainting it soon at work.

Well the motor is all pulled down! just taking a break before i start putting back together. Those E7 heads are junk and cant believe the difference in the ports with the au manifold.

They are rare as thesedays... This one came up on ebay a while ago and i just couldnt say no, there is nothing like having a nice v8 wagon I wanted a late model v8 ford wagon but seeing as AU stands for Absolutely Ugly and ford in its wisdom didnt make a ba v8 wagon i went with a trusty e series..

finished off some bits on the wagon today. Took the maf apart and cleaned it all, sorted out some loose wires and took the drivers door trim off to fix a power window problem. Now soon as the starter gets here i will bolt it all together and get it going

Hmm.... ECU Relay Maybe??

Little idea, get a wire and splice into the starter wire before the injector loom socket, then put a spade connector on the end of that wire and plug it into the starter motor.. Then try to crank it over, and see what happens..

thanks for the idea bud, i have to drop the exhaust tomorrow so that i can get to the starter properly. I am going to test for voltage at the starter relay and run from there. i might have damaged the bcm with all my stuffing around but then again the light for it glows for 3 seconds then goes out ( no blinking ) .

I hate car electrics...

Yeah...

I've had issues with the EF with the electrics, but being a home-taught sparky, i've learnt a lot to the point that last year I re-wired the entire floor loom in the EF using factory colour wires and all..

Replacing the bem wouldn't go astray either... I've had 2 BCM's fail on me before I got the V8 NF 'Lane dash loom, so that put an end to that.. hehe..
