Default Apricot /peach trees keeping bug free?

Another passion of mine is gardenning.I can graft roses to have 10 different coloured flowers on one plant ,do amazing stuff...but when it come to keeping worms out of my apricot or peach tree I need some help. Ive used pest oil to no avail.

Does anyone have any tips on their care to keep the fruit pest free?

Useless, you after herbal natropathic type remedy or a chemical coctail solution?

I'm guessing the worms are fly larvae.

I'll ask my ol' man, as he used to have a few acres of fruit trees.

They may be fruit fly larvae

Try physical removal 1st if the numbers are small and destroy all of them, otherwise there are a range of fruit & citrus sprays and powders that can be applied to the foliage and fruit. There are also baits available that only attack fruit flies (if you know it is them) and not other insects which may be beneficial to kill other pests

describe the worms ... are they a bit like slugs??

if so ... try spreading ash or flour over them ... dehydrate the little &$#&%#s

pyretherine (spelling??) is meant to be good too

Hey useless, I spoke to my dad, who came up with the following:

If the worms are in the tree itself, they are likely to be borers - and bad for the tree. If it is, let me know and I'll see what I can find out on that.

If they are in the fruit, it is likely to be fruitfly - and the best remedy is to pick all the infected fruit ASAP, and burn it. Stops 'em spreading.
