it wasn't until i was reviewing the pics that i noticed it.
 cropped and zoomed in - it has a smiley face   i took the pic out on the balcony so i wasn't shooting through glass or anything. i can't for the life of me work out what it is or how it happened. i first thought it was a reflection but then i remembered i didn't shoot through the glass and nothing i have looks remotely like that. for the record, i'm no believer in ufo's and there will be a completely rational explanation somewhere. in the full pic, if you crank up the brightness you can actually see other circles (not blue) in the sky. the tall building its next to is the Q1. maybe i should track down the tin foil hat wearing brigade and stir the pot a little.  |

Looks like a bit of dust to me, a lot of people get these sorta pictures at night and think they're spirits or something.

It looks like a water spot...although I've never seen one with a smiley face...
Has the same appearance as water on lens...

definately not a ufo . they only visit AMERICA . looks like a photo chop of a full moon to me . on the other hand , if your eyes didnt see it , then its a camera fault or reflection of some sort ,
if it was a ufo , they wouldnt waste there time coming to australia , when they could've went to AMERICA and picked up a texan on the farm taken him for a few orbits around saturn , **** probed him , and given him sex with a female reptilian , then floated him down through his roof tiles back into his room , for the whole population within 30 miles to see , then 1000 jets would've rushed over to create jetstreams so it wouldn't happen again , but a harvord hypnotist would then extract all the info from the city's civilians. so like i said . it wasnt a ufo , there are none in australia

I'll try and dig up some photos of a similar orb taken at night a few years ago at the Perth Royal Show, in a series of shots only appears twice.
