Default Play in caliper guide pins

Hi,

I've got an 02' AU III Wagon with 120,000km on the clock, which has a brake shutter problem that you feel through the steering wheel, so I have opted to do new DBA rotors and Bendix Ultimate's all round 4 corners...

Anyway, checking everything else is in good working order while I have the chance, when checking that the calipers are sliding easily (which they are), I noticed there is a small amount of play in the guide pins on both fronts. (ie. you can wiggle the whole assembly up and down on the pins, and slightly side to side as well...)

Just wondering whether there should be no movement like that as such, and whether that movement would contribute to the shutter?

I don't want to install all the good stuff, to find out that the pins should have been replaced.

Do you guys know if you can replace just the pins, rather than purchasing a whole caliper assembly? I'll get you to quote me on whichever parts I might need...

Appreciate your assistance,

Cheers,

Lachy.
