Default I am Legend - Movie Review.

SO I went and seen this tonight, and all I can say is I was blown away, it scared, excited and kept me entertained for the entire movie, Its quite graphic in parts and the effect are brilliant.

On the down side, the product placement and bullshit is a little over the top and stupid...

FORD obviously sponsored the movie along with Apple, apart from that grab your loved one and prepare to be taken on a very good ride.

8/10

Will Smith is so so good and appears cant actually make a bad movie.

Also will add dont just download this movie, its one I think that needs to be seen on the bigscreen

ENJOY!

Thanks for the review, I'm hanging for this movie. But here in AUS we have to wait till the 3rd Jan.

Will smith has been on fire with his movie choice for along time now. ' I ROBOT' was a very underated film.

It was the highest grossing non-sequel movie for the opening weekend in the states all year, did about $71 million. It is also the biggest grossing Will Smith movie for the opening weekend as well (it did about 150% of Independance Day). (those numbers are close I think, I can't remember the exact detail since this morning :P)

Glad to hear you loved it Should do well in Australia to, and I haven't met anyone who doesn't like it.

p.s. You shouldn't "just download" any movies ;)

I enjoyed the original;) so this should be good.

OH, OK...so it's not a remake of 'The Last Man On Earth' from 1964 starring Vincent Price, where a biological catastrophe wipes out mankind, leaving only Vincent to battle the undead zombies.

Isn't it a remake of the Omega Man with Charlton Heston?

Sure is! He cruised in a '70 LTD in that one, and there was a Mustang-through-the-shop-window scene, as per the remake...

Really looking forward to seeing this one too. Saw a trailer for it online the other day.

Wild Wild West was a shocker... other than that I agree. Admittedly that was a while ago though - probably should cut the guy a break. I remember reading somewhere he turned down the role of Neo in The Matrix to film that one.

Yeah that's what I thought when I saw the preview! It was pretty damn B-grade though. Not exactly groundbreaking nor was it Heston's best.

Does Will tell the zombies about where he was born & raised? (In the playground was where he spent most of his days)

Having read the book a while back, was really disappointed to see the movie move so far away from it. I know Hollywood has to do things differently, but this movie if it has true to the nature of the book would have been mindblowing.

As it is, its I Robot, with the Robots being replaced by vampires/zombies

Just curious, has anyone gone to see it at the IMAX Theatre? They''ve got the trailer on the front of I am Legend is from the next Batman movie, showing 6 minutes of action scenes which were actually shot on IMAX camera.
