Hey guys I have just stripped down a 1.6l escort engine to go in my 105e Anglia and I wanted to strengthen up the internals but since I am rather new to this I have no idea where a good place to order parts is? Any links or advice would be appreciated.

Hi Matt
For engine parts, Racetune is a good place to start. Rolly there is always helpful. PM me for other info and who to avoid. If you are happy to source the bits from overseas, then Burtons in the UK are brilliant. Also look at Milton as they do engine mounts that will fit the 1600 straight onto the Anglia crossmember. They mainly do suspension bits, but I fancy a strut brace from them. Buy Retro Ford and Classic Ford to see what the guys in the UK do. Pretty well the same rules apply, but certain brands are better than others, eg Kent Cams are brilliant. Good Luck.

If you want a good strong well built engine find someone who does Formula Ford Kent engines and have a chat to them. If you can't find anyone head to Barbagallo when the state series is running and ask someone in one of the teams. http://www.formulaford.org.au/wa.html |
