Just wanting to ask you XR4 owners opinion, how do you think a XR4 wuld compare to a bigger car like a ford xt, would there be better take off and how fast do you reakon it would take for the xt to catch up?, also do you find it comfy to sit in for the guys? and does the dash light up green or blue?

The xtreme taxi would be slightly faster in a straight line but into turn 1... bye bye XT.

XR4 will chop a XT like no tomorrow. A 1.6L can keep up with and XR6

there's no comparing the XR4 to a falcon XT they are sush different cars.
Xr4 is fun to drive, the seats are great and i dont get back pain like i used to in the regular fiesta's. Instrument cluster lights up green i think, i'd have to check that and get back to you.

The dash lights up green but can be easily changed for 250 odd or so....

Haha... uhhhhh okay pie.

Hop in a bog stock Fiesta and lets see how long you can keep up with a falcon (in a straight line)

Compare power to weight ratio's if you wish. I think the numbers wont lie.

Even the xr4 has a worse power to weight than a XT falcon.

But forgetting the actual power of the car, you must take torque into account...

Ask the B-series boys and they will be happy to tell you just how well a bog stock 1.6L Fiesta keeps up with them on Putty.

Hard to decide... between an XT and an XR4? what are you smoking? Why even bother compating the two?

Am I the only one that doesn't get it?

Stereo is fairly similar, sounds decent enough. Obviously it'll never satisfy everyone but it works well and has the standard MP3 input which is the same as Focus. Factory 6-stacker is easy to use.

In a drag race, the XR4 will be made to look like its parked every single time with easy. You could even give it say... a 0-60km/h head-start, then take off, and still hose it by car lengths over the 1/4.

Corners, Fiesta wins full stop.

dont waste your time with the i30, true euro cars actually come from europe, not korea.

the i30 is going to sell well.. looks stylish and the auto diesel when it gets here will make a lot of sense for the general punter... that said it'll have nothin on the XR4 in the performance stakes... then again the i30 is more against the focus than the fiesta range methinks...

It wouldn't be much of a race. A lowly BA XT is at least one full second faster down the 1/4 then an XR4... which is slaughter.
