Dont know why people feel the need to point out if somethings been posted before. I dont think anyones trying to claim they wrote these jokes etc merely putting them up for others to see. Certainly hadnt seen this before and had a good laugh at it. No offence to anyone but if youve seen a post before just close it and move on

Crikey sensitive bunch here arent we out: :

I never said it had been posted before, just that it was an old story that seems to have been doing the rounds for at least a couple of years, usually with a different location each time and a recent time & date :

I agree. As other have said, if it's a repost (particularly a while ago) there are some who dont use the forums as much and wouldnt have seen it, and may not have showed up in a search either.

If you've seen it, instead of the : smiley, close it and go to next thread! : Now thats off my chest!

it's old and it's also crap.
Yet again, it's amazing what rubbish people will believe when it comes to police.

There is an actual event similar to this that happened several years ago on the Ipswich Motorway near Darra.

Actual event.
OHS inspector was not caught speeding, he was just driving along and saw two GDs operating on the side of the road without the pretty vests and pulled up to suggest that they should be worn.

Coppers were young and, how shall I put it, not interested in his opinion.

OHS guy drove off and rang Makerston St (HQ) and reported incedent to senior officer.

GD coppers got bums kicked, no fines, no charges either criminally or departmently.

Radio station found out, did a beat up and senior officer admitted that it did actually take place.

Of course like all legends it gets better and moves everytime it is told.
