Have recently been told a story of a Cobra in WA. Supposed to be the genuine Moffat Bathurst raced car - with proof. Anyone know anything of this car?

I don't know about that car but both Moffat raced Cobra's are resorted as the 1977 1 - 2. They started as XB's, in '77 convered to XC, in 78 they were cobra's and in 1979 only the No 1 car raced at Bathurst and it was the Federation Insurance No. 25 car. Alan only had enough budget to run 1 car in '79 so I'm not sure whether the No. 2 car was sold or leased out. Dan Bowden would know the answer.

I own a replica of the Fed car car and can confirm all this to be true in doing my research.

Cheers Graeme
