Hi Guys,
Ive got a 2010 Zetec and one of the rear doors doesn't unlock. You can see the locking tab move slightly when you press unlock button but it doesnt pop out. It can still be manually pulled out to unlock. Locking works fine so its like the actuator has a problem only in one direction. Is this an actuator replacment job or can it be repaired? Cheers, JB |

It sounds like there is some jamming going on in the door that restricts the unlocking mechanism. So unless you know someone fiddled in there recently ( repairs?) safer to replace the actuator
