Default It's on the way.

Dropped the car off today for the Numurkah legacy repairs. And talk about progress, I dropped in 4 hours later to tell them something I forgot, and I hardly recognised it. Both bumpers off and rubbed back, both sides rubbed back to metal in places and repairs in progress. Door handles out, bonnet and bootlid off and rubbed back. Headlights and tail lights out. Spoke to the painter, and he said all but the roof will be painted at this stage. Only badges going back on are the blue ovals. Didn't look that nice, but it's gonna look trick when it's done. Can't wait to get it back and cruise.... :

Thanks Tony. Hmmm it's been said I am a non-conformist, hahahaha. The first was my old headmaster, just before he expelled me. :

Heard a rumour that a bit of your car is landing on my desk tomorrow, Kev! That will bring a smile to your face.

Cheers

Your right Rob, but cost is not the issue here that's for sure, the way in which this whole saga (Numurkah) has been dealt with has been enough for me to seriously consider going with shannons. All the guys that copped damage can't speak highly enough.

Regards Craig

Just reading this thread and not knowing the saga or any background of Numurkah (??), out of interest, what happened to this car?

It was, you are so right Craig. Shannons have proved they truly are insurers of enthusiasts. My only delay was my choice of repairer, but the service as a whole was above and beyond the call.

Called in today to check progress, and I was surprised to see that it has progressed further than expected. No piccies this time, I thought I'd leave them for the end result. But everything's painted and, although unpolished, looking fantastic. Just assembly, polish and detail left. Maybe Monday, but definately Tuesday for pick up. Woohoo...
