It depends what you are after.

You cannot get it in steel, so you have to buy the bulge and have it grafter to your existing bonnet. If Fibreglass doesn't bother you, then you can get a whole bonnet. Or spend more and get a carbon fibre bonnet. AWC, one of the sites sponsors should be able to help you with any of the 3.

Any good panel beater will fit and paint it to look factory, there are plenty of pics on here of cars with aftermarket kits and you would not pick them.

Plus doing the whole bonnet, you don't have to worry about joins cracking etc and you get leave your factory bonnet alone.

With the add on bulge there will be filler and if the prep and paint in a hurry it will end up a disaster.
Talk to my son he had the bulge put on and now it looks absolute garbage. You can see where a lot of the pop rivets are etc. His panel beater has since moved overseas so big money for nothing and no other panel beater now wants to touch it.
if I were getting one I would definately go the full fibre bonnet. (paint and fit)

It can be done well if the guy doing it knows what he's doing, I cut my teeth in the 70s and 80s when add on scoops and wings were all the rage, never had one I fitted let go, never used pop rivets, always had happy customers. you really need to talk to the guy who's doing the work and make sure he's had some experiance with this sort of thing first... most panel beaters / spraypainters have little experiance in this area, you're better talking to the ones who specialise in custom work
