Have just given Postimage a go. Much easier to use than Photobucket.

Photobucket must be having a hard time getting customers to pay the US$399 for the 500 Plus plan for 3rd party hosting as predicted....
They are now starting to discount the plan.... If you go to their site, this is their latest offer; Want Unlimited 3rd Party Hosting? The Plus 500 Account has you covered! Get 10% off today USE CODE: summerfun Still not enough of an incentive to make people take it up IMO. |

Now all my image links have disappeared on the forum. The images still exist, but now at the .cc address. All I have been able to find out is I am supposed to "update codes embedded in your websites". How do I do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You're right, all my linked PostImage.org photos have disappeared from my project thread :( :( :( And I've only just got over the photobucket BS from earlier. Any advice from anyone greatly appreciated.

If I'd given Photocrapit 500 of my hard earned I'd be asking them some questions.

UPDATE
Given the limitations in our forum software to narrow down editing capability, we are calling for volunteers who are able to assist with editing and fixing links for other members (and themselves) for a period of time. If you are interested, send me a PM and I will add your name to a list that members can use. Please also let me know which forum areas (Show'n'Shine / Builds etc.) you wish to assist in. Regards Russ

A big thanks to those who have volunteered so far.
The list below contains the user namers of those who have access in the forums listed against their names to edit posts and update image links. Bulk edits for those images where the image name has not changed and it is just a new URL in front of the original image name can be addressed to me and I will action them. For example: if your image URL is currently: photobucket.com/fred/mycar01.jpg and it is now something like: fordforums.com/gallery/50/mycar01.jpg OR newhosting.com/fred25/mycar01.jpg .. then these can van be resolved using the bulk function. All other examples that change the name of the image (the piece after the last '/') will require manual editing by one of our volunteers. Regards Russ

What about the performance build section Russ? Mine are all still viewable at the moment, probably just haven't reached me with the shotgun and blanket yet.

I cant thank "swanny" enough for fixing the links to my photos after photobucket decided to charge for sharing my photos.
I thought 7 years of photos was lost. Thanks to AFF admin and members for providing the information to save my thread. Below is what i did. I download each photo, individually from my Photobucket account. I tried to download the album but it wouldn't work. I downloaded 600 photos individually to a folder on my computer. It took me about 30 minutes. I then created an account with "imgur" (basically another version of photobucket) Uploaded my entire folder to imgur in 1 go. It took a while to upload but i just let my computer do its thing. When all the photos were uploaded i sent PM to "Russell". He put me onto "swanny" who over 1 week fixed all the links to my photos and saved my thread. Thanks again guys, much appreciated p.s just need to work out how to upload photo to "imgur" using my phone

it appears that PB have removed the option to download an entire album at once, unless there's a hidden setting somewhere I don't have checked.
Does anybody know? I really can't be bothered downloading individually the 1000's of gifs I have on there PLUS all the photos Halp, I really don't wanna have to do it one by one. I may legit cry and require large sums of chocolate to cope. Edit to test flickr vs imgur, flickr it is
