Default 1300 Hc

I've got a 1300 HC Escort motor in a 69 Corty, when i separated motor and box I noticed there was no spacer or stone plate to protect the fly wheel. Does anyone know where I can one in Southeast Queenland as the wreckers are struggling to find a second hand one.

Are you running the mk 1 Escort gearbox with the intergral bell-housing or the later Mk 2 gearbox with the separate bell-housing? I have a few spacer plates for a 2lt, which uses the same gearbox as all the mk 2s 1300/1600/2lt. I'm pretty sure it will fit a 1300 x-flow as my mk 1 escort van has a Mk2 gearbox (which also allowing me to use a bosch 2lt starter motor.)

PM me with your details and I'll send you a plate for the cost of postage. I'm in Melbourne.

Hey dude, appreciate your offer, it's running a cable clutch, seperate bell housing (internal bolts), starter is on the passenger side, if this sounds right let me know.

I've just taken the close ratio GT box out of my panel van. It was original fitted to a GT Cortina, but was converted to cable clutch. Open to offers.

I have a few pinto (2lt) stone plates. I'll check tonight to see if they fit a x-flow (1300) as well. I'm pretty sure they do, as they are reveresable.
