Well im sure everyone knows what im talking about with the faded headlights and we all hate them.
Yesterday a mate suggested to me why dont you grab some cut & polish and hit the head lights with it. So i though hey its not that much i may as well since im on a roll today. Lowered car, fitted head unit may as well try fix headlights. After 15 minutes and my $4 kitten cut and polish my dodgy faded yellow headlights now look quite clear. So to anyone else out there who has yellow lights and cant afford new ones try sme cut and polish. It works a treat. Just though id share this with you as i know im not the only one who has them.

yep, I did the same thing to mine, came uo a treat compared to what they were....I attacked them with abit of 1600grit sand paper, then some cut and polish, worked well. They looked pretty bad before that, now look almost new.

Not sure on how long it last. Its dark out n the digi cam batts are flat but once i get new 1's ill put up some pics. It done a damn good job tho. I went over each side 3 times n it come up great. For $4 its worth a try. If you have already got some cut n polish all it takes is 15 mins

i done mine 3months ago still look good, bought some new headlights off ebay for $140 pretty cheap

we do this at work and charge people for it, all we do is 1500 wet, then 2000 wet then use buffer to buf it with some cutters they come out like brannew!

heres a couple pics. Cant really see much difference due to the sun light but its made quite a noticable difference. Sorry bout crap quality. Still not feeling the best after lastnight and the sunlight quite hurt lol.

In the first pic you cant really see the reflectors inside the light but in the second one there a lot more noticable.
Check out the fluffy dice hahaha

you "still" need to sand the effected layer away first......they will be crystal clear once you've done that
1200 wet/dry paper on a block, then your cut and polish, then some meguiars scratch X and they'll be perfect..... TRY IT |

I hammered into mine several times with da polish, but i got a good deal of ebay on new genuine set, my old ones dont even compare, finishing touch to da front end.

I've done a few sets "the proper" way now. Always come up a million bucks.
Way better than you're result webby, but if it's a cure to bad vision at night then it's definitely worth it. Sundeep |

you obviously need to keep the paper and lights wet whilst sanding with the 1200 grit wet/dry paper
