I wonder what extent she'll get gagged now she'll be let out & i wonder if the proceeds of crime laws here wont stop her from telling her "true" story over there. She did her time & survived but what i hate about crims is they aint got enough balls to admit what they did & the media perpatuate a perception for there own gain.

cheers, Maka

CH9 would have a vested interested seeing as they have that drama movie/show airing on Sunday. I think they had their whole news crew in Indonesia last night to report on a 40sec press conference.

I couldn't give a rats about what's going on personally. We all know she's going to become an overnight millionaire when she returns to Australia with her 60 Minutes interview and ZOO Magazine appearances...

Why the interest? I have no idea. But Monty Python's legendary insult of 'empty headed food trough wipers whose mothers were hamsters and whose fathers smelt of elderberries' has an apt application somewhere in this moronic media generated circus...

Make sure she brings her body board bag for some after dinner treats for you both.
Then off to Sam Suraces private property for some skids with the kids.

She is a convicted drug smuggler. However I believe she has spent enough time in gaol as cannabis is a 'soft' drug (not that I condone using it).

Boogie boards weigh sfa - surely you'd notice an extra 4.5kg in the sack and think something's wrong. Also, why take a boogie board to Bali? ffs there's heaps of them in Bali, rather like taking a ghetto blaster to a nightclub.

She's guilty as hell - suffer it out and suck it up girl.

Cheers!

This whole thing has become a Boring Farcical Joke, Yes she has done the time, but why are we glorifying her ???... There are many other albeit less attractive Aussies rotting in overseas Jails and they do not get all the media Hype.. Yes let her free, but please media lets STOP trying to shove her down our throats..Lots more important news around that dosent involve making hero's or celebrities of Criminals

Remember Black Saturday...not some drug smuggler who got caught and paid the price.

Then again, we made a "national hero" out of Ned Kelly, a common horse thief and wantonly cruel cop killer who got what he so richly deserved...no idea why we do that either...
Mr Kelly and his family were quite harshly treated by corrupt police. He did retaliate a little bit much though. Like in these days, police raping women still occurs, but the police can never be wrong.

Wrongdoers deserve whatever sentence or treatment they get. If someone responds to what anyone else did first, then so be it.

Yes the problem is that some people over react, and also there are the wrongly accused.
We have progressed a long way since the colonial days, but in some ways the perpetrators are still the same, they just hide behind so called laws, and are no longer scared of their victims 'getting them back'.

I have no interest in Miss Corby. More drug smugglers need to be put to death. So do rapists, especially if they are police members. Curbing any chance of re-offence, and maybe a heavy deterrent for others to do the same crime.

Sins of the Father: The Untold Story Behind Schapelle Corby's Ill-fated Drug Run
by Eamonn Duff
3.39 of 5 stars 3.39 · rating details · 97 ratings · 30 reviews
A senior investigative journalist reveals the explosive results of his three year probe into Australia's most famous drug case. A reckless father, his dark past, an Adelaide drug trafficker and the Gold Coast beauty school dropout who kept her mouth shut. This is the explosive untold story of Schapelle Corby and how she took the rap for her father's drug syndicate.
The result of a three year investigation, Sins of the Father returns to the beginning of Australia's most famous drug case, to a time when nobody had ever heard the name Schapelle Corby. Finally, the missing pieces of the jigsaw fall into place as we are led, step by step, through the important weeks, days, and hours leading up to her dramatic arrest.
Shedding new light on her long-held claims of innocence, this is the book Schapelle's army of supporters do not want you to read.(less)

I had a chat to a Fed in organized crime not long after she was busted and he told me they had a watch on her as she had done it twice previously... Her buddy baggage handler wasn't there to slip her through the last time.
So, If what he told me was true, i wonder if it was us that actually tipped them off...

As for the media, perfect time to introduce a few more new laws "to protect us" while we are being distracted with news about idiots.

There is something about her, though. That 'little girl lost look' she has (and 9 years as a round-eye in an Indonesian Prison would leave you lost) makes you want to look.

Innocent/guilty? Doesn't matter now, she's had 10 years in jail.

I suspect either the family themselves are very canny media feeders or they are getting very good advice. No doubt they will make mega bucks over the next few years as they milk the media for all they are worth.

Who wants to be a millionaire?

Plan A -

Step 1- Go on Eddie's show with a mate in the audience who googles the answers followed by the correct number of coughs..

Plan B -

Step 1- Go to Bali smuggle few kilo's of drugs
Step 2- If successful collect your pay packet, come back to Aus right away without conviction.. Or If caught, act innocent. You're screwed now.. BUT be patient! wait until the media spin convinces everyone your family's past drug habits have nothing to do with you..
Step 3- Spend 9 years writing down how life has been so difficult and unfair because your innocent remember?
Step 4- You have done the hard yards, time to sell that fiction story to the highest offer.
Step 5- Collect the same amount of money you were granted with 9 years ago ( possibly more ) and live the rest of your life being rich. Hell, why not apply for dancing with the stars because your such a celebrity and great role model
