I don't know if it qualifies as a 'hot hatch' but the new Golf GT looks impressive on Paper.
I got the brochure today 1.4L Twin Charged 125kw : 240nm 100km @ 7.7L 0-100 in 7.9sec (7.7 with the DSG auto eXtremist ;)) In the real world though it would require 98RON petrol MINIMUM and be more susceptible to loss in performance from higher air temperatures. Money no object, 130i love RWD 3.0 I6, but hate the image BMW gives, as well as a lot of other premium euro brands.
If given 30 grand I'd rotate the engine in the Foc 90 degrees. ;) |

The civics have always been ugly and it looks like it aint going to change!
I question the massive amount of money Honda have invested into this test...the massive advert at the end is a little worrying isn't it? I know TG pride themselves on not being in the pockets of the car companies (so they say) but gee thats a massive advert! The GTI is still a great looker, but man i drove down to the bottom of the MLC building carpark on Wend and i must have counted 20 of them!! I love my ASBO! still the best car for me.

I went with the civic type R, what a little animal that looks like nothing else and would be a hoot to ring its neck.
That or the Citroen C4, I love the stying aswell. Who cares about the power, if you want that get a XR6T or something. Id prefer looks and fun.

I'd really like to see a Volvo C30 T5 in all white in the flesh... great platform, unique design and i think the colour sets it off nicely.
