If it was possible to put the gauge pod on the dash we would have!

But not possible

Gauges are hardly looked at whilst city driving only when your on the open road or stopped at traffic lights or such, they are a personal thing for their own reasons.

If anybody can come up with an idea of where to put the gauges on the dash without destroying it, we would appreciate your thoughts.

Dont forget the A Pillar pods are illegal

I dont know anybody that studies their gauges whilst driving

The badges look like soap.

that would sell good :hihi:

Someone from the AU forum has put a gauge into the dash shroud where the aircon knobs etc are, it looks pretty good in the position.
Would it be possible to make something to slide in from behind if you cut out the shroud to shape and poke them through.

its great, but instead of it looking like two 'nipples' i think it should be gradually moulded to the height of the gauges. great idea though and im definately interested. how will it be attached?

:
The first prototype would not fit under the ashtray. Brian has modified the die and made another prototype today and we're going to need an AU to check it on being that the AU's are very scarce around here and Mark wont let us sit in his car without taking our shoes off. The *****!! lol

Pictures of the new prototype will be up as soon as we find a AU!! :

No idea on price yet.

3rd time lucky and hoping this time it fits snug! He has just finished the 3rd prototype. The bastard ashtray keeps getting in the way, so crossing fingers it will fit nicely! If so we should have them up for sale on ebay soon.

Price between $80 - $100

You people seem to be talented in the plastic moulding department. Perhaps you might like to consider fabricating a mould or tray that will fit the space left when an AU double DIN stereo is replaced with a single DIN unit. The Ford pouch doesn't fit right and looks like crap. There are quite a few people out there, me included, that would appreciate a quality alternative.
