What a bummer Rachelle Splatt's new top fuel car sh!t a magneto in the pits..... they drove to Kinglake to get another one but the Calder Park time curfew didn’t allow her to race....next week...with some new time boards up and running we all hope..
.
Also over the other side of the country W.A (Simon) GTP-330 went ET:13.11 but had a few drama's, so he will have to wait to back it up as he only had one run..Congratutions Simon nice time and the 60 foot was 2.00 what tyres are you using?

Steve ran his car for the first time ever down a 1/4 mile with a 2.2ish 60 13.89@100, and a wheelspinning 60 gave him a 13.99 later in the evening.

Two 13's in a row, GT with an exhaust, helix,CAI underdrives no engine management whatsoever. Top effort for first time out.

Orsm XR proved his consistency with a 13.86 unedited wheelspin everywhere, and I was lucky enough to go side by side, and i can appreciate how quick chris's XR8 really is.

Simon, first time out in his edited deal, one shot pass a 13.11 amazing, with some potential drama's that spoilt the party. Hoping to see him back on the blacktop soon.

Nice crowd, lots of smiling drivers and hearing the Bosses at full cry was the medicine for a good night.

See you there next week!

Well done on the time Matt.I think i may give the underdrives a miss for a few 1/10's i don't think they would be worth it.It seems those who have em on the manuals suffer clutch problems. :

Still a great time Matt, with consistancy

I guess the next thing is to sort the driveline components out...clutch, cv's... then all the power can be put to the ground with more confidance

My clutch has had no dramas whatsoever with not working etc with underdrives...maybe mine being an earlier build is ok. Having said that though, if I start getting more power I will need something that grabs a bit more....getting a fair bit of travel in mine now and getting a bit sluggish in the grab after gearchanges

Yeah unfortunately i think that the car has gone over the safe threshold of what the clutch can handle and now it has extra grunt i cant put it down.

Oh well ill see how soon i can get the other tuff bits fitted and go at it again, prolly be a couple of months though, try to concentrate on the house for a bit. :togo:

Now its your turn you eastern staters, cause i dont know of any other cars in WA that are even close to mine and simon's. :evil_laug

Hey guys, One pass, had to lift just after changing into fourth and clutch slipped after changing into third.., Problem ill discuss when it permits, 13.11@107.8.... 2.006 60ft I think that proves the consistancy of the tunes and it backs up the power we have seen in the last couple of days on the dyno.

Tyres i use where hankook ventus, $265 bucks each

Well done Simon maybe a shootout with a few of these cars out on the strip would give some credit to these cars.I don't think many cars with the mods u guys have would come close. :jab:
