Not everyone was impressed with the Bieber fever that swept Sydney when the Canadian pop star arrived for his long-awaited concert last week.

A 17-year-old Bondi Junction teenager has been charged by police after he allegedly broke into the roof of Acer Arena to throw eggs at Bieber during his performance on Friday night.

A number of eggs were thrown at the teen heart-throb and his back-up performers during the concert, but all missed.

Acer Arena complained to police after becoming aware of the incident when details were posted on a social networking site.

The teen was arrested at his home at 7.30am today and taken to Waverley Police Station where he was charged with break and enter, trespass and malicious damage.

Police also seized a mobile phone among other items.

He has been granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on June 2.
Granted it would have been better if he had have actually hit someone/thing but I am confident with some community service we can have him ready to go the next time that little mop haired weasel hits our shores.

A medal ? What about some more eggs ?

Am I right to dislike some mop-headed teen muppet who never needs to work again, and who can get more quality p*ssy than a Toorak cat's refuge ???

Where there's a fear, there's a fantasy ....

I hate "his" music (no, I'm not saying he's a female, I'm saying that its unlikely that he writes his own songs) as it stands for everything my music stands against.
However, this doesn't give anybody the right to throw eggs at him.
I'm sure a lot of people hate the thrash metal that I play, even more probably hate the death metal I play... but I've never had eggs thrown at me for it.

Sure, I believe I am infinitely more talented than Justin Bieber, but the masses think otherwise.
Who am I to argue?
If Justin Bieber's songs bring happiness to so many people, surely he can't be such a bad thing... my head tells me this, my blackened, hate-filled heart tells me otherwise; regardless, I stand by my point.

I'll never listen to that style of music but I'm not going to insult the people that do, if I were in his position I'd be doing the same thing - advertising like crazy and selling millions of generic, auto-tuned albums.

...I genuinely did think it was a teenage girl singing the first time I heard one of his songs though

Back in 1991 in Primary School, we were all into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Our elders said, "it's just a phase. One day, it won't be popular anymore." We all thought, "yeah, right!" Well, we eventually found something else...

In the mid 1990s, kids appeared to be into Power Rangers. We had kids in the schoolyard beating each other up (much to my amusement actually)...again, phase passed.

Late 90s, a cartoon was created purely for marketing a line of crap. Pokemon.
About 10 gameboy games, Nintendo64, numerous little dollies and plushies, hand held crap, clothing, backpacks, hats, DVDs and VHS etc....they made the most of it...

That is all Bieber is doing...making the most of his 15 minutes of fame. When he's older and he goes through puberty, that female voice of his will disappear.

Yeah, this was exactly my point.
It only doesn't bother me how he sounds as I don't have to hear him unless he's on the damn radio at work *which I have literally NO control over.*

Don't know how he managed to miss everything with the number of eggs he threw but i find somehow admirable that the kid and his dancers just kept doing their thing without stopping or running to hide...

Justin Beiber reminds me of Sebastian Vettel for some reason and vice versa, they both annoy me. At least i dont have to listen to SV on the radio all the time....

Just like the mmm pop boys whatever they were called, when his voice breaks JB will disappear for a long time....i hope so anyway...

I didn't like Leif Parrot, and as for the truly execrable Mr Holden ....
But the Monkeys were okay.

Grumpy old men have to hate something. Its all we're good at now.
We resent talented successful youth as it reminds us of our dismal failures and lost opportunities.
Age and treachery will always beat youth and enthusiasm.

BTW Charliewool, your avatar reminds me how lonely it can be out Laverton way. The WA Laverton, that is.

The boy deserves a medal????

You people have serious jealousy issues, leave JB alone, I would never listen to it but thousands of teenage girls do, thousands of teenage girls wear girly cloths, do girly things that no one here would do either, not our problem and a stupid thread.

This could have ruined the show for thousands of kids who payed big $$$ to go to the concert ( I personally shelled out close to $400 for my kids to go, and it was the most exciting day in my daughters life in her eyes at the moment, so why spoil it for her an thousands like her).

Are you people really so insecure and weak that you can't let a bunch of teenage girls enjoy a concert without getting joy out of someone attempting to ruin the experience for them.

Very sad really to see how bitter and twisted some of you people are with your lifes that you can not be and let be.

what if some gets in his eye - whether it is an egg being thrown at a person or a car, it is a pathetic thing to do. i am sure there are many people who would rather an egg be thrown at a car and not a person, so the people on this forum are probably in the minority - some people need to grow up and show respect - but unfortunately that will never happen

and while i do not have experience with eggs on clothes - i somehow doubt that eggs can be washed off that easily

I'm having a little trouble with this.
I don't particularly like the guy myself, so I don't listen to his music blah, blah, blah.
To the point and the boot on the other foot, if it was my kid or anyone elses kid from this forum performing at a school concert for example and someone starting throwing eggs at them, I'm sure we wouldn't be at all impressed.
To much hatred in the world as it is.
Honestly, what has he done to any of us? Nothing. You can dislike the guy because of his music and singing, but seriously, is that a reason to wish bad things on him or applaud someone for inconsiderate acts toward an individual.
Damn! He ain't a kiddie fiddle FFS!
This is a poor thread and I wish to echo gtxb67, grow up.
