I tried a few companies but they all said they didn't have it on their books just yet but should do at some point in the future... Interestingly they still have the RS and XR5 listed as 2012 models, even though they stopped making both in 2010.

Thanks mate.
I have heard the ECU's in these ST's are even harder to crack then the MkII RS. I think these will make some good power too with the right hardware.

Very cool car, I wouldn't mind one! But he kept saying that driving it would give him an edge at Bathurst, plus the constant ecoboost plugging, the corny-ness made me cringe!

It was indeed very corny and budget.

In car footage of him thrashing it around a track would have been cheaper and easier... and far more enjoyable.

It's the first time it's been on an Aussie road, give them some time. Tough crowd.
Maybe they could get the good bits and make an advert for the car.

We're waiting on a call from our local dealer when the demo model arrives. Going to test drive one amongst many other hot hatches. Been told expect 3 month delivery times.

Thanks Jason.

I said you understood the in-car technical stuff better than I did which is why I linked to your site in my review. Good read and it explains it way better than I could.

Cheers

Have a few dealers got any of these for a test drive? Parents are downsizing from FG turbo to a ST regardless of how it actually drives but it would be nice to get a taste before the waiting period.

Ill drop in to Coffey Ford tomorrow and see what they say while picking up some bits. I haven't been this excited for the parents to get a new car since the BA Turbo.

Have had a quick drive of a XR5 and I loved it, hopefully this is much the same.
