I am experiencing this after the recent rains too. Couldn't find where it was coming from either.

Did it end up being a rusted spot weld?

Mine is manual and i just got the firewall welded bak up and its still leaking on my right foot. Still havent got around to takin the wiper motor out yet and having a look. It is very annoying but, also worrying that it is probably leaking on some wiring etc.

I see it's been a while since anybody has posted to this thread, but does anybody know where the problem was?
I have an XR6 manual ute (AUII) and have the same problem - but only happens when I'm facing uphill or when I'm in torrential rain.
Any more information on this would be much appreciated,
Thanks,
Nathan.

no its not all rust... just the spot to the top left, about the size of a 5cent coin... found that under the wipper arms on the drivers side... just put a bit on silicon over it, time will tell if its the only one... was dripping down only the brake pedal only slightly when braking, more when stopped and a heap when going around corners

Cheers Cam
