I have been having issues for the past few nights...between 9.30pm - 11.30pm I either get booted out or can't log in.

I just clean out my cache and wait..

Same and today there was a period I couldn't get access at all.

Unfortunately it would appear that the issue that Russ had earlier this year may have reared its ugly head once again.

I'm sure Russ will be all over this like me on a beer on a hot day just as soon as he has the time.

The issue is similar to the last one in as much as it is related to the server running out of apache workers and then refusing to respond to new requests.

I have reverted the recent change made to the Tech portal and we will see if this resolves the issue.

Cheers
Russ

Working fine now russ

I was hoping in a way that it was aff having the issues and not my comp as i allowed a friends daughter to use my comp and it ran slow since then.

Great to see you working it out

Yes, it's been frustrating because I have been having modem issues and so never know whether it's the site or the damn modem. And I hate going to other sites. LOL.

Damn Apaches eh Russ - tried Comancheros? (sic)

Not the usual error this time - I was running a script that overloaded the server but it is rebooted now and should be fine.

Cheers

I thought it was just me!

Seems alright now. Perhaps a little slow, but at least it doesn't come up with a 'connection error'.

Apart from not being able to get on just before, I've found today that after logging off the few times and saying each time that I've logged off, and then coming back again later, that I'm still logged on.
Just tried it again and its still happening.

The server lost DNS resolution this afternoon which is why it wasn't accessible via the domain name. Those who knew the IP address could still get in. The DNS entries have been redelegated now and these should gradually propagate to the various ISP's.

Cheers
Russ

Looks like we lost the A record for a while as fordforums.com.au was returning NXDOMAIN from the FF name servers. Glad it's working now :1syellow1
